I am excited to be joining the 2027 Wolverinas Team this Spring. I am coming from another AAU program where I developed as I player since 2019. Since I started playing basketball at the early age of 5 with the YMCA program, I have loved every aspect of the game. Between the competition, the speed of the game, the aggressiveness of the players, and the overall fundamentals of the game, I was hooked immediately. I also play competitive volleyball as an outside hitter and enjoy that very much, but my heart lies in the game of basketball. In the winter, I love to be on a mountain snowboarding with my family and friends and in the summer, I also have a love of water sports since my family got a wake board boat in 2017. At a very young age, I learned how to wake board and wake surf, so when I am not playing basketball in the summer, you will find me on the boat. But, for as long as I can remember, basketball has been my number 1 passion. I have played for the YMCA recreation league, the feeder program to my high school, and then onto an elite AAU program.

The adrenaline that basketball gives me is like nothing else. My favorite part of playing is the defense and ensuring that the player I’m guarding does not score. I’m not the tallest girl on the court, but with my wing span and vertical, I play as a very tall player, which allows me to rebound well, catch any pass thrown to me, and make unmakeable layups. I also have a mean 3-pt shot from anywhere on the court.

I believe in my coaches and respect the knowledge each of them have and know that I am becoming a better player with each practice and game I am in. My work ethic and commitment to the game will continue to make me a better teammate and player. I am very excited to see what this next AAU season has in store for me.
